Clinical Question
Does titrating positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) with the use of an
esophageal balloon to estimate pleural pressure improve outcomes compared
with an empirical high PEEP –FiO2 strategy in patients with moderate –
severe acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS)
